Integrated Learning Major, Forensic Science (B.S.)
The Forensic Science Integrated Learning Major (ILM) is a 25-26 credit program that can complement a variety of other majors, including Anthropology, Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, Earth Sciences, Physics, Psychology, Sociology and others.
Minor in Forensics Science
The Minor in Forensic Science provides students with an understanding of the fundamental concepts and principles behind the application of scientific techniques to forensic investigations and to the criminal justice system. The minor allows students to gain both a deep understanding of a traditional discipline through their major field of study and gaining experience with various aspects of forensic science and criminal investigations.
Medicolegal Certificate (12 hour program)
The new Medicolegal Death Investigation courses and Certificate are are targeted to students interested in forensics and the medicolegal field, and to those working in related fields. For those who have not yet achieved a B.A. or B.S. degree, or are actively pursing an undergraduate degree, this 12 credit hour Forensic Science certification will add important skills that will increase the value of the certificate holder in forensic and medicolegal careers.
